- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Working in a post office is a thankless job, in many ways. When mail arrives as expected, nobody thanks them for the excellent service, but when a shipment goes astray, they hear about it at length and volume. However, the staff at the Tilton PO has always been pleasant and as helpful as the USPS allows them to be. One of the issues with the postal system is that individual employees are not empowered to solve problems. They are hemmed about with regulations, and are as frustrated about their lack of resources as are their customersBy Lynne Fox, June 12, 2017
